Chris Kirby Smoke detectors can be given and installed for free in most homes by local volunteer fire department. Please contact one for assistance if you dont have any in your home. Best call you will ever make. Weve pulled too many kids out of burning homes with no working units

Raylene Dickenson I suspect there are many many people who didn't know that you could get free smoke detectors..... I for one didn't know that. How about the batteries? I know you're supposed to test them monthly, what if you're in need of new batteries, does the same free apply to those as well?

Scott Brown When you get assigned Rapid Intervention Team and say this is boring we're not going to do anything this team and the training we do for this is one of the most important for a positive outcome when we have Mayday situation.Rember to train for the worst case scenario. There's no such thing as a routine fire.

A coding error caused the outage. The software's backup measure to reroute calls also failed.

This is what the brother and sisterhood is all about. Job well done to all involved.
