Mobile ER
Why do we want people to know what our job is really like? Why do we get so upset when someone calls us an ambulance driver? Is it really that important for the public to know what we really do? I think the public is lucky not to know. If someone thinks I’m just an ambulance driver I will tell them that being an ambulance driver is the most rewarding and exciting profession you could image…and just leave it at that.
Have a safe week everyone

Justin Whaley It doesn't bother me when the general public doesn't know what we do, because the ones that generally get true emergent treatment seldom know they are getting it....what bothers me is when other emergency workers. I.E. Hospital staff, police, and some...See More

John Lilia Linares Nice! Sure wish I knew you were in Houston, I would have loved to get some pics done! One day hopefully!
Dansun Photos Hi John Lilia Linares, if I was there longer than just a few hours I would have let everyone know. I just had a few hours to kill while waiting for a flight.
Lauren O'Neill Visited this museum when I was there. It was fantastic. I luved it. Great photo Dan
Here's a cover I did for Caitlyn Armistead's book Crossing the Line. It's about the relationship between two medics working in the trenches of EMS. Caitlyn, an EMT herself, sent me an excerpt and it's pretty juicy. I've already pre-order my own copy. Lets support our sister and buy her book. Congratulations Caitlyn, can't wait to read your novel.

The Bolton brothers.
There's a lot of tradition and family in the fire service. I love creating portraits like this. I've done several multi generation firefighter and EMS portraits. If you have similar photos I would be able to create an image like this for you. Just message me or email me at dansunphotoart@gmail.com
Have a good weekend everyone....

Here's a project I'm really excited about. Habitat for Humanity Regina has asked me and a few other artists to create artwork on actual home doors. These doors will be displayed at high traffic locations throughout Regina and then the doors will be auctioned at a Gala to raise money for the construction of a local Habitat Home. Here's the art-door that I'll be sending them, thanks to Triple J Decals and Signs in Leduc for prepping and transferring my work onto the door.

Eric Narciso How much would something like this cost? Like on a door?
Dansun Photos Hi Eric Narciso This is a one time piece for Habitat for Humanity. I think I'll stick to canvas, metal or paper.
Tommy Phillips I want that for a picture to frame!!
The Alternate Exit
Not many people get to see the damage a 12 guage shotgun can do to a human head. Police, EMS, fire, military and the coroner are the only ones I can think of...and of course the families that find them. I guess there are the crazy people who do this to others but this isn’t about those murderers. These patients rarely even make it to the ER for the doctors and nurses to treat unless they’re still alive and that’s even scarier.

Dan Simpson Um you may forgotten anyone in the funeral business. I worked in that field for two years and trust me, I know very well what a 12 guage shotgun can do to human anatomy when fired at close range. Along with a .44 magnum.
