The firehouse doors are open, so come on in.
The FDNY is inviting the public to check out more than 200 firehouses and EMS stations for its second annual “open house” event on Saturday.
Firefighters will be handling out fire-safety coloring books and helmets for kids, and officials will offer tours of firetrucks and ambulances.
Visitors can also hear safety tips and watch demonstrations from firefighters, paramedics and EMTs.
The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
“We will once again welcome New Yorkers into our facilities to spread fire- and life-safety messages and to show young men and women the careers available in the FDNY," said FDNY Commissioner Daniel Nigro.
