The Polish government has opted for a progressive retailer tax with PLN 17 million monthly tax-free turnover and two rates, of 0.8% for turnover between PLN 17 and PLN 170 million, and 1.4% on surplus above the PLN 170 million sum, the Finance Ministry said.
