Tino Mayo Unless I am missing something, I dont see that he committed a criminal act. It was a dangerous job and Im sure he did the best he could in the situation. Unfortunately things happen that you cant foresee.

Bryan Davidson I would like to know a lot more details before passing judgement on this guy but being a firefighter in the City of Binghamton NY, (anyone who has seen the film "Drowning Machine would know) we understand the dangers of low head dams all too well. And to be honest, with boats we don't go anywhere near them, especially for a recovery

Tyler Pederson You always keep your truck as clean as possible because it would be embarrassing driving a filthy truck. Every time it comes back from a call it should be cleaned if your a volunteer department. It could sit for a week before it moves you never know. I like clean trucks it shows pride.

Tim Smith Because people take pride in their job and the equipment they use. OK so the FDNY or Boston or Chicago don't wash an clean their trucks everyday doesn't mean they don't take pride in their ride it just means that their bigger and busier departments who run more fire calls than medical emergencies .
