Lori D. Martinez I used to watch this show with my friend and neighbor whose father was a volunteer firefighter. It is interesting to see the connections with the other shows I knew from childhood.

Craig Moore Anyone who shows up to a fire with tarps
And ladders is confused if he is a firefighter or a house painter! 😛
Jerry Apel Yup, do it. Engine donkeys need holes in the roof or the neighbors can hear them squealing!
Brotherhood of Fire fans,
I'm wondering if we can help spread the word through facebook about this 14 year-old Longwood Fire Company, PA Honorary Firefighter Gianna Winters’ Christmas wish / dream of one day meeting the Chicago Fire - TV Show Actors and Producers
I think we can help this special young woman accomplish her dream by sharing this post until it reaches the attention of someone who could make it all happen.

Gianna Winters Thank you😎merry Christmas back to you!
I am on duty tonight... on one hand I am happy to be with my awesome crew for the Christmas holiday... but I am also quietly sad.
Sad because I am remembering three years ago today on Christmas Eve morning when a sorry-ass excuse for a human being and gunman (who I refuse to name) cowardly ambushed first-arriving firefighters there to extinguish a house fire the madman had intentionally set in the Rochester suburb of Webster, N.Y.
This scum killed two firemen and critically...

This Christmas hearts are very heavy and particularly sad in and around... and for the Detroit Fire Department. Everyone is still in shock and in solemn mourning after the murder of one of their own.
Fire Engine Operator (FEO) David “Super Dave” Madrigal worked for the fire department for 25 plus years and was currently assigned to Engine 33. He was also a member of the Honor Guard and was set to retire in spring of 2016.
After not hearing from him Dave Madrigal's son went t...

Lynn Baker So sad. There is a special place in my heart for Firefighters. My Dad was a FF for many years. luved through the Detroit riots, even though him and his co workers were pinned under the dash of the engine. They were being fired upon by snipers. My prayers go out to his family, friends, and co workers!!
Jeremy Mullins He was my first FEO, 15 years ago he drove me to my first fire, taught me how to make soup out of absolutely ANYTHING. He was a mentor a friend and above all a brother to his core.
Alex Vadasy Also drove me to my first fire. And my first FEO. And my first friend in the field when I got out of the Academy.
Here are 7 Reasons Why Working on Christmas Is Not so Bad... can you think of any more?
Merry Christmas to all, especially to those (including me) who are on duty.

Andrew Valdez Merry Christmas brother. Stay safe. I go on tomorrow!
Sean Yates Wish I had duty today(volunteer)...then at least I'd be home and could see my family today. But I work in the offshore oil industry. Stuck 426 miles as the crow flies from my house and family. Won't be home for another 2 weeks. Best I can do is a phone call. Every other year and its my turn.
Thank You…
To the men and women who have taken an oath to fight for us each and every day.
To those who face fear and uncertainty, leaving their families for a job they love despite knowing the chance of them never coming home is higher than most.
