Great location. Decor is great, service is wonderful. Lots and lots of options for flavors and toppings. Very reasonably priced. Favorite froyo place so I highly recommend. This is as good as it gets. -
Review from James S.
Wide variety of flavors.
I had praline pecans, cookies and cream, and peanut butter.
clean and neatly arranged toppings. 55cents per ounce.
Definitely will be back for more. -

This place is awesome. :) My friend and I got froyo, sat down, and chatted for a couple hours. The staff was soo nice.. they went around giving cups of water to customers. It turned into a little dance club with the lights and music later in the night. I don't think it's possible to NOT be happy in this place. Oh, and the froyo is delicious. -

One of my favorite fro yo spots and it's dangerous that I now live right around the corner. The salted caramel with hot fudge is heavenly. -

Finally a yogurt place in NY that is similar to Yogurtland! They have 16 flavors hence the name. But most importantly, they have cookies and cream, coffee and peanut butter..can I get a hell yes?!?
I like 16 Handles more than Yogurtland since their cookies and cream is less chocolatey so it's less bitter in my opinion. Although, I'm not a fan of chocolate...I know I know...it is unheard of and I am crazy...oh well.
Anyway, they have a variety of options for you to top off your yogurt. And they have the baby gummy bears...holler! Oh and they charge by the oz. -

Review from Lolia S.
Fro-yo girl here. One of 9 Manhattan based 16 Handles locations, 16 Handles has taken NY by storm with its 16 flavors of fro-yo (aka, 16 handles). The space has an appealing club like feel with comfy booths for hanging out and a white, green, magenta color scheme. There was a freezer with fro-yo cakes, fro-yo cookie sandwiches, and other treats.
A friendly employee dispenses the fro-yo samples for you. I felt guilty about asking for multiple samples.
Fro-yo (nonfat, kosher) flavors of the day:
* Kiwi strawberry sorbet
* Euro tart
* Ripe raspberry NSA
* Coffee break: creamy, smooth but had a bitter flavor
* Irish mint NSA
* Toasty marshmallow
* Chocolate love affair
* Vanilla sky: creamy, sweet but not too sweet, not an intense/strong vanilla flavor
* Red velvet cake
* Birthday cake
* Pistachio
* Cookies & cream
* Crème brulee: creamy, smooth, sweet but not too sweet, tastes a little like caramel, pleasant didn't have a real crème brulee flavor
* Graham cracker
* Peanut butter confession
* Salted caramel
The fro-yo had very nice texture, very creamy. Flavors favor the indulgent, sweet end of the fro-yo spectrum. The shop was very clean and the employees very polite. Toppings included nuts, candy, cereal, cookies, chocolate covered things, syrups, mochi, lots of fresh fruit, cheesecake, sprinkles, whipped cream, etc. They had some better toppings like crunchy vanilla clodhoppers (yum), rainbow cookies, and decadent hazelnut crunch.
Fro-yo and toppings are 52 cents an ounce and includes a cute signature 16 Handles spoon (green or pink).
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.-
