The 1883 Rumsey hand engine from Healdsburg, California, in its original configuration (see earlier post showing it at a California Firemen's Muster Associationcompetition in Virginia City, Nevada.

This 1883 Rumsey hand engine was once part of the fire protection of the California wine country town of Healdsburg. For many years, it was a regular competitor in California Firemen's Muster Association competitions.
I thought it fitting this evening in lieu of all of the police unrest and shooting of officers that the Firetruck Guru say thank you to all of our law enforcement officers, that protect and serve the citizens of our country.
