Whether using hydrants or tank dumps, pre-incident planning is critical to making sure there's enough water for any fire.
Pre-incident plans require time, energy, a surveyor's distance wheel, pencil, paper, installation of lay off signs, and above all, determination.

Danny Rumney Sr. 10 days for stealing from dead children? Come on! As a former EMT, I find this totally disgusting and very shameful for our profession. It both sickens me and angers me. It makes no difference it being a female or a male. A rotten, scoundrel thief is a rotten, scoundrel thief.

A fire lieutenant will not be held accountable for his actions that may have contributed to the death of a toddler because he was allowed to retire before facing discipline.
The toddler's father is extremely upset and sickened to hear no one will be held accountable for his son's death.

Jeff Buccola I don't understand this one bit; isn't this the 2nd case of a DC unit not responding to a call where a person then died? I think it was a few years ago. Know your district and just go, we don't need to be told to go by dispatch, that's just terrible leadership! Or lack there of!
