Linekers to have a quickie DIVORCE today! Gary, 55 and his wife Danielle, 36, in shock split following six years of marriage... amid claims they 'disagreed over starting a family'

Gary Lineker and his wife Danielle are set to divorce after six years of marriage. The couple - who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Italy in September 2009 - are expecting to be granted a quickie divorce at 10am today. A spokesperson for the pair told MailOnline: 'Gary and Danielle have decided to end their marriage and their divorce will be confirmed today with the judge granting a Decree Nisi. They remain the greatest of friends and wish each other every happiness.' News of their shock split comes after the estranged pair were spotted attending the theatre together in London just last week, with Danielle's wedding ring noticeably absent as she walked yards ahead of her husband. Three weeks ago, the model-turned-actress posted a cryptic Instagram message about 'wishing for' or 'recovering from love'. The shock split comes amidst claims they disagreed over plans to expand their family. Gary has four children with his first wife Michelle, while Danielle is mother to a teenage daughter with ex-Coventry footballer Adam Willis.
'Sell everything!' Dire warning from Royal Bank of Scotland as fears mount that markets are set for new crash and oil could plunge to $10 a barrel

Billions were wiped off the world's top stock exchanges as the oil price plunged to $30 a barrel, prompting panic in New York (pictured, top), the Nasdaq in Japan (bottom), and Britain's FTSE 100. But Standard Chartered claimed that oil prices may yet fall as low as $10 a barrel - last seen in 1998 - and analysts have predicted a 'cataclysmic year' for investors. RBS urged people to sell almost everything, saying: 'In a crowded hall, exit doors are small. Risks are high.' BP warned it may slash up to 4,000 posts, as analysts warned of a 'cataclysmic year' for investors.
British tourist and his American girlfriend feared they would be eaten by cannibals after being captured by vicious tribe during hiking holiday in Papua New Guinea

British backpacker Matthew Iovane and his American girlfriend Michelle Clemens were trekking through the jungle of Papua New Guinea when they were confronted by a gang who tied them up, stripped them naked and beat them. During their ordeal they had no idea why they had been targeted - and the only thing they could understand their captors saying was 'Kill you'. The couple finally managed to escape while they were being force-marched through the jungle, and ran naked back to safety.
Toddler who was found wandering the streets alone leads police to her dead mother after saying: 'I'm going to nursery. I can't wake mummy up'

Nicolla Rushton (pictured), 30, was found by a PCSO and his wife after they spotted three-year-old Phoebe wandering the streets alone and followed her back to her home in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire. When he stepped out of his car to speak to Phoebe she said she was making her own way to her nursery - 350 yards from home at Little Strawberries - because she 'could not wake mummy up'. The couple followed Phoebe home, where they found Miss Rushton. The off-duty officer stayed with the girl until emergency services arrived, and Miss Rushton was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pippa's in love! Duchess of Cambridge's sister rekindles romance with City millionaire as they enjoy holiday together in St Barts

Pippa Middleton, 32, is dating James Matthews, whose younger brother, Spencer, is the star of Made In Chelsea, the popular reality television show. A well-placed source said the relationship was tentative at first on Miss Middleton's part but is becoming serious, and the pair - who briefly dated in 2012 - have now been seeing each other for two months. The couple have just spent eight days together on the exclusive Caribbean island of St Barts.
Shrewd Bowie's family fortune revealed: Singer's smart deal means £135million legacy goes to his wife and children

Despite his huge success, the London-born singer was thought to be close to bankruptcy in the 1970s with a string of bad business deals. But an astute financial move in 1997 brought him millions - allowing him to buy back the rights to some of his most popular work from a former manager. It meant that, when he died on Sunday aged 69, Bowie is believed to have left a fortune of £135million to his second wife, Iman, who is pictured with the late star in 2010, left and his two children Duncan, top right, and Lexi, bottom right.
'You've got the WRONG David': Hysterical Celebrity Big Brother star is comforted by Angie Bowie after she misunderstands news of her ex-husband's death - and thinks housemate David Gest has died instead

US reality TV star Tiffany Pollard ended up in hysterics on Tuesday night's Celebrity Big Brother after mishearing Angie Bowie's sad news that her ex-husband David had died. Angie (pictured with Tiffany) , who was married to David for 10 years, was told off camera about the singer's passing on Sunday from cancer, before deciding to remain in the CBB house. While she initially agreed with close friends in the house, David Gest and John Partridge, to keep the news to themselves, Angie decided to telly Tiffany, only for the US reality star to mishear her housemate and think Gest (bottom right) had died.
Forgive me, but I find this hysteria a little over the top: STEVEN GLOVER says the Second Coming would scarcely attract as much attention as Bowie's death

David Bowie was a special pop singer and an unusual man, admired and loved by many people, writes STEVEN GLOVER. Speaking for myself, I was interested by much of the coverage on radio and television, and enjoyed articles about Bowie in this and other newspapers yesterday. But dare I say that the torrent of adulation in some quarters has been slightly overdone? Over the past couple of days we have been told countless times by some in the media that David Bowie was a visionary and a genius and a very great artist whose name will live for evermore. Isn't it the case that in modern Britain the death of a statesman or great writer or brilliant Nobel Prize-winning scientist would have received one tenth of the reverential coverage accorded to David Bowie? 'You should be disgusted with yourselves': Furious man whose sister died of cancer snaps at striking junior doctors for being 'egged on by Corbyn's cronies' in heated picket line confrontation

Stephen Minister, 53, (pictured) said he lost his temper after a striking doctor 'smirked' at him when he told them about the death of his sister from cancer. In a heated confrontation, he approached several junior doctors standing on the picket line outside Lincoln City Hospital in Lincolnshire and bellowed 'I've got no patience for you' after becoming exasperated by their strike over new contracts. In tense footage of the exchange, Mr Minister can be heard bellowing at two male junior doctors: 'I've got no patience for you.' He added they were being 'egged on by Corbyn's cronies' and 'bullied by the trade unions who were bringing back situations from the 1970s'. It came as Jeremy Hunt insisted that 'nearly 40% of junior doctors' had turned up to work despite the industrial action over the terms of new contracts. But junior doctors and the British Medical Association (BMA), which is behind the strike, pointed out that the vast majority of those who worked had already agreed to go in to provide emergency care, and few of those would have been voluntarily breaking the strike.

Will marriage to Murdoch now mean Jerry has to quit Jagger's £13million mansion? Split deal only let her stay there until she married

Former model Jerry Hall may have to move out of the £13million 26-room Downe House (pictured) in Richmond she shared with Sir Mick Jagger - because of her engagement to Rupert Murdoch. Mr Murdoch, 84, the executive chairman of News Corporation, which owns The Times, announced their news on the Births, Marriages and Deaths page of the newspaper yesterday. Miss Hall and Mr Jagger (left), who have four children together but were never legally married, split after 23 years in 1999. Sir Mick agreed to let her stay on in Downe House, where they had lived together - but it remained a mutual asset. And according to sources close to the initial separation deal, Miss Hall is only allowed to remain there until she is 65, or until she marries or cohabits.

Please don't die, mum: The heart-wrenching moment a mother kangaroo reaches for her joey one last time - before dying in the arms of her male companion

A grieving male kangaroo has been captured cradling the head of his female partner (left and right), who was lying next to her distressed joey in River Heads, a coastal town in Queensland. The heartbreaking last moments of her life were captured by photographer Evan Switzer, who said he had 'never seen anything like it' in his daily walks on the bushland property in the past 10 years. Mr Switzer said the protective male companion chased off any kangaroos who came too close during the ordeal. There were no visible wounds on the female kangaroo and it was unclear how she died.
'America is the most powerful nation on Earth - nobody else is even close': Obama heralds USA's power, optimism and work ethic in his final State of the Union address as he attacks Trump's 'hot air'

President Barack Obama used his final State of the Union address to take on his critics, particularly those in the Republican Party who argue that he's running the country into the ground and they'll put it on the right track. 'Talk of America's economic decline is political hot air,' the president said. He argued that anyone making those claims is 'peddling fiction', in a rebuke towards Donald Trump. 'So is all the rhetoric you hear about our enemies getting stronger and America getting weaker. The United States of America is the most powerful nation on Earth. Period. It's not even close.' His wife Michelle, pictured right, received a round of applause, ,as she arrived in a $2,000 Narciso Rodriguez dress.
Accused by the posh flirty liar nicknamed the 'booze hound': How Durham student's 'bright future' was devastated by 'crazy drunk' student who claimed he raped her

Charged with rape and indecent assault, Durham University history student Louis Richardson's life immediately ground to a halt, writes TOM RAWSTORNE. Suspended from university, he was forced to put his studies on hold and return to live with his parents in Jersey. When, finally, the trial began last week, he resolutely denied the charges, claiming the sex had been consensual and accusing the woman's jealous boyfriend of encouraging her to make the complaint. The jury at Durham Crown Court believed him, clearing him of all charges yesterday. While the end of a nightmare for Richardson, questions remain as to how on earth the case got to court in the first place. His barrister went so far as to describe his accuser's evidence as being so full of lies and contradictions it demeaned 'genuine rape victims'. Pictured: Richardson (right) and (left) with his parents, Simon and Judy.
