While almost every apparatus has a fan on it, PPA is still a very polarizing tactic. Some see it as dangerous to add thousands of cubic feet per minute (cfm) of air into a potentially occupied fire building, while others see it as negligent not to attempt to control the flow path inside a fire building by keeping a fan at your back.
The 100ft load is the Scorpion. You leave a tail out at 50FT then lay it back on top once you lay the nozzle inside. The second is the Cleveland Load. You wrap 100Ft with the nozzle in the middle. This deploys very well without kinking. (YouTube image) See More Videos
