The New York City Firefighter Brotherhood Foundation Folks, we understand everyone's passion towards this topic. There is no need to compare what Jon wants to want we want or deserve. We owe a debt of gratitude to Jon Stewart for helping push this to mainstream outlets. Jon has been on board with us for close to 6 years working with us helping obtain items to raffle off as fundraisers and always being there when we needed him. Just remember Jon wants what we need

Friends - Here is the latest on a very fluid situation. Chairman Upton's draft is no longer an issue, and Senator Gillibrand's draft is now in play. The big four (McConnell, Reid, Ryan & Pelosi) will now get together over the weekend and iron out the details and a payfor. We expect to be locked in the Omnibus by Sunday/Monday and we expect a vote on Wednesday/Thursday. All of this is subject to change, but we feel good about our hard work and progress as it relayed to us. We ...

Geoff Wright I am a retired police officer from London, UK. I pray that your efforts will be rewarded. Accept my sincere congratulations and appreciation of your work on behalf of each one of your colleagues who ran towards danger that day and on the days and weeks that followed and who made it possible for so many to run to safety.

Steven King Not that it matters, but Mr. Trump has ignored all requests to support this bill. So have real candidates like Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz.

Kat Iris I personally think it was good, yes very silly but it brings awareness to the cause for those regular folks that don't even know what's going on. Once they're aware and start really looking into it they will see that it in fact is a serious issue and that it needs more attention.

La Marie So every four to five years endless trips to DC to renew the Zadroga Act, shame on congress, that you have to do this, its like fighting for the right to live. I really hope this is the last time you have to do this, they should make it permanent.

From John Feal;
Friends - I am back! And we were the last man standing! These are the facts and this is an accurate description of what is going on with a very fluid situation. We are close! Very close, but still have some outstanding issues being resolved! We went to DC and spent 3 days cleaning up the mess and we came out with leadership guaranteeing our bill goes with 5 years on the VCF and permanent healthcare. We have done our job. 22 trips to DC this year, over 600 meet...

Lance Miccio my Grandfather led the way for many Miccio's to FDNY , NYPD .
No matter what you read or hear: do not believe any of it about Zadroga passing or failing. We are trying to keep you up to speed with the truth.
Right now the truth is things are going in a positive direction but NOTHING about this process is complete yet. Soon maybe but not yet.
All we ask as of now is that each of you refrain from further calls to DC offices and enjoy your day for now.
Please share this status as to others and understand there is a method to our madness.
Thank you all.
