Kathy Dowd Your dad was a hero and from what you say he sound like he was a great dad. You should live your lifes in his honor. He will always be looking down at you and he will be proud of you no matter what you do. Know that he was a good man and least of all a hero!!!!!

Public Service Announcement: You are walking in a shopping area with your child when you see a police officer, you say to your child "You better be good or that officer will hand cuff you and take you to jail!" This seems humorous and harmless to a lot of parents but to the officer this is a huge safety issue. When a child becomes lost while your shopping, they become scared a fear they have done something wrong and now are scared to tell the officer they are lost because the officer will take them to jail. Parents, encourage your kids to good but don't use the threat of a police officer when they don't, it prevents them from seeking help from real HEROES. Make this go viral this Holiday Season!

Sue Day One of my pet peeves is people that make villains out of doctors(behave or the doctor will give you a needle) and cops. They need a serious dose of common sense.
