Bryan Pippin As a volunteer department, we rarely if ever, jump on a roof. But my Chief has said more than once, get up there, hit it hard, get down.

If you stop moving on a roof, you are risking you and your teams safety.

Passing out, even briefly, can be a sign that a firefighter has life-threatening health issues.
Taking care of our own sometimes does not just mean rehab at a fire scene.
