New York, NYThe store doesn't have the greatest selection, compared to other locations, but I like the early hours here. Very easy to get some shopping done before work and avoid any crowds. They have men's, women's, kid's and baby department -

Brooklyn, NYProbably the worst Gap store I have visited. Not only was the store unorganized, the entire store was a mess. Oscar Madison would feel at home here. Clothes are on the floor, entire displays have clothes dumped in piles - I had to be careful where I walked.
Some displays listed that items were on sale, but when I checked the piles, I saw different styles, some of which didn't have price reductions. Were those items on sale? I didn't bother to ask.
In fairness, the sales associates were all busy at the registers or helping customers, so perhaps the store is understaffed. It is still a mess. -

Gap has been suffering from a serious "away with corporate greed" backlash for the past, I don't know, 15 or so years. I don't like the idea of corporate greed either, but that's not going to stop me from going to Starbuck's, McDonald's, or the Gap, or anything, for that matter. Chains will keep on growing and sprouting up everywhere no matter what, and if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
And I just have to give thanks. This particular Gap store has saved my ass many a time. It's proximity to my place of business means that if I need to buy a cute new dress for an impromptu cocktail thing, I'm most probably going to find it at the Gap for less than the $100 or so Banana Republic would charge me. If I want to make an equally impromptu wardrobe switch, forget to wear a camisole underneath something that turns out to be too revealing for the office, or rip a hole in my tights, I just go to the Gap.
Yeah, I said it. I LIKE the Gap. I think, if you play your cards right and make some solid choices, you can look quite stylin in Gap clothes. And I bet that a lot of skinny jeans that people want to pass off as J Brand or something are from the Gap. Come on, admit it.

I love the Gap and the employees here are friendly and helpful but the line is always BRUTAL no matter what time of day. They need to find a resolution to this problem ASAP or I refuse to be their Duchess much longer. ;) -

San Diego, CAtzinnius hoes ain't gotz to worry about showin off 'dem elbows.....
i think this store is the mecca for religious girls who want to dress modestly without looking too FRUMpy.
GAP had so many knee length skirt options that i had to take advantage of and lots of great basic tees.
AND... downstairs is kid gap which one should not ignore because i got some leggings from downstairs that are SUPER cute and way cheaper than the ones for the big kids upstairs.
AND they have a public bathroom. zing! -

Manhattan, NYYou know how you fell in love with the Beach Boys for songs like "Surfer Girl," "Wouldn't It Be Nice?," and "God Only Knows"? The Gap is now more like "Kokomo" to me. Meh. -

Queens, NYI like to hit up this Gap because it's close to where I work. I usually only shop the sales racks since they have really great mark downs. Beware these sections are always a mess. Too many shoppers to keep it organized!
