Review from Alissa A.
I was visiting my mom who lives in the area, and we were looking for a more mellow place to have a drink. Gramercy Park was the perfect choice! Although Yelp labels this as a wine bar, it's really more like a sports bar. But it has a surprisingly good selection of wine considering it's a sports bar. The bartender was friendly, and the drinks were reasonably priced. We were stuffed from dinner earlier, so we didn't order any food, but the menu had lots of good bar snacks like grilled cheese.
If you are looking for a mellow bar to have a drink in Gramercy, definitely check this place out. -

Manhattan, NYThis place has changed names/themes so many times over the years I had nearly given up on it being a spot worth patronizing.
I'm happy to note this newest incarnation is friendly and unpretentious.
The bar stocks the standard brands and the people working behind it are friendly. They will make any drink you'd like, as long as they have the ingredients.
Haven't tried the food. -

Malvern, PAWe were wandering around and scoping out the neighborhood bars.
The regulars do not like newbies here.
The bartender was sweet and gracious
But, we were made to feel very unwelcome by the other regular "guests".
We had one drink and quickly left. -

Went here on a Friday night with 2 guy friends to chill after dinner in the area. We were looking for a place not crowded, reasonable drink prices, where we didn't have to yell at each other in order to have a catch-up session. I actually held an event here when it was the old space (3 Steps). Same layout, but the feel is much nicer. Not a big place, but not super small. Flat screen TVs all over. Had sports on. Music was not too loud, was able to hear each other across a round table. Liked the big, round table near the front window. Enough seating available on a Friday around 9/10pm. Space to stand (dance?) in the back. My dry Kettle martini was meh, but prices were fair. Love the wall paper. Would definitely bring a date here, first date. Cute bartender! If they do buyouts, I would rent for a 75-100 person event again. -

New York, NYI first want to note that this is not a wine bar, while they do server wine here it's much more of a sports bar.
Usually come here on Sundays to watch football. It's the perfect bar for this because they have many tvs and it's not filled with drunk college kids.
The bartenders are very friendly and seem to know most everyone by name.
Overall a great neighborhood bar! -

PECK SLIP, NYI am a little late writing this review as it is from Super Bowl Sunday 2013. A small group of us decided to try Gramercy Park Bar as a spot to watch the game without really knowing it. The place was busy through most of the game, making waiting tables tough but our waitress was great and always on top of things. Then during the infamous blackout, the bartender and the owner provided free shots and drinks, and then drink specials while everyone was waiting for the game to start again. Everyone was fun and upbeat and I would definitely go back to Gramercy Park Bar! -

New York, NYOk, I'm a little bitter because I have a large place in my heart for the former Three Steps (that used to live here). Fine... It used to smell a little like chlorine but hey the drinks were cheap and the staff was awesome!
Needless to say 322 2nd avenue has had a pretty little facelift and voila! Gramercy Park Bar. Came here last week for the first time later on a Thursday night... nice atmosphere, decent drinks, and a few too many TVs (particularly the monster in the back which I'm sure the guys will LOVE). Seems like a great happy hour spot or a nice alternative to some of the other bars on 2nd for game-watching. Will go back! -

New York, NYThis place is now a neighborhood legend for not closing at all during Sandy. They survived on candles. Was getting kind of rank-- if you catch the drift--haha--on day 4 but it was great to have any place open to get out for a while. -

Manhattan, NYGood for drinks and watching the game. A little hard to get the bartenders attention. Nice bar for people in the area but nothing to go out of your way for.
It really would help if they got some food options on the menu that were a bit easier to share. -

Manhattan, NYThis is my new favorite neighborhood bar. Ended up here the other night on a whim and am really glad we finally tried this place. Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming, from the bouncer (who encouraged us to come in even though there was a 30th bday going on) to the owners (who introduced themselves and took pictures of us when we asked).
Why did we love this bar so much, besides the nice people, you may ask? Great music, well-priced drinks, small but not too small, and a fun crowd. Also, the fact that it's in between Gramercy/Kips Bay and the East Village means it's a perfect locale for me. Would be great to watch sports, as there are a bunch of TVs. -

Manhattan, NYHidden gem of Gramercy Park!!
Floor to ceiling, front to back and even the bathrooms are choice! Whenever you walk in you feel like you're at home. Cheers to the owners for taking the time and effort to make this place easy on the eyes. And of course well done on hiring an amazing crew of bartenders (Kate & Cara).
If you find yourself wondering 2nd ave make sure to stop in a say hi. You'll be welcome with open arms. -

Manhattan, NYSuch a simple place and a great place to meet up with some friends, grab some drinks, and chat. Nothing special about the bar, just very simple -

Boston, MAI stumbled across this hidden gem last week. Very nice ambiance, good drink selection, and a friendly staff. I certainly will return next time I'm in the area. Definitely worth checking out! -

Brooklyn, NYI'm never in Gramercy. Ever. But I just so happened to be last week and came across the Gramercy Park Bar. It's a welcome addition to the neighborhood with easy going staff and good vibes. Locals, take note, you've got yourselves a new watering hole. Non-locals, ditto. -

Westchester, NYGreat spot on the edge of Gramercy, good mixed crowd, friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks. They have several TV's that are visible from everywhere in the bar so that you can watch NY sports. However, the bar and the crowd are the focal points of GPB. -

Country Club, Bronx, NYI have to say I had the best time here! Gramercy Park Bar seems fun , hip and friendly!!! Great drinks and great people!!! -
Review from Tara E.
New York, NYThis bar is completely generic with no personality whatsoever. They lost my card and refused to admit that they had lost it or take responsibility. Complete nightmare. Avoid if possible.
