This again looks like a really charming little place-- with reviews all over the lot! I guess it will make it that much more puzzling to figure out just from the Yelpers

Tuckahoe, NYI have been going to both Coppola's restaurants for many years and have always had amazing meals with excellent service. I would highly recommend both locations for lunch or dinner. Now I would also strongly encourage considering Coppola's for catering your private events and parties.
I threw my sister's 70th Birthday party here at Coppola's and they did an absolutely outstanding job. We had 20 guests in their downstairs private room - (for special events up to I think 100 people) - Everything was perfect! They gave us a special, party menu at a really great price (I was paying for everything so it made a big difference).
I got to try almost everything on the menu, and it was all cooked to perfection. I would order it all again and again. For my entrée, I had the Dijon Salmon, which is something I probably would order at a seafood place, not an Italian restaurant. It was by far the best salmon dish I have ever had. The salmon was exactly right and I can still taste the sauce in my mind. I also had a lot of the veal parmesan, which I have had there, many times before, and it was phenomenal, as always.
The very well-trained staff was outstanding and extremely attentive. they did not miss a thing. The manager, Benny, worked closely with me in the planning of the party. He was very, very helpful and knowledgeable, and demonstrated extraordinary patience in dealing with all my questions, requests, and last minute changes.
I would highly recommend Coppola's for everyday dining and especially for your private event. -

Manhattan, NYI can only comment on the drinks and dessert because we just sat at the bar for a few hours one cold December evening. The bar itself is lovely, and they have a large selection of fun and festive drinks (we went right before Christmas). I wanted to try a peppermint martini which wasn't on the menu, but the bartender still made one for me complete with real crushed candy cane along the rim of the cup. We shared a creme brulee, and it was large with lots of fresh fruit - totally hit the spot.
Based on the good service, delicious dessert, and fun drinks, I would like to come back to try the restaurant itself. -

Amsterdam, NetherlandsNice venue, low quality and overpriced food and very disrespectful staff, I ordered the stagione pizza and it was really poor, the staff was walking around the restaurant during the dinner coz it was pretty empty. No professional at all. We ordered white wine and every time the waiter filled totally the glass, getting warmer... I do not recommend this place, 50 dollars per person seems to much just for a main course and white wine. I just signed the bill and the waiter check in front of us the tip, and it was lower than he expected, he waited for us to leave to say good bye in very bad way. Although we are visitors/tourists, we have been in much better places than this in NYC, my advice is not to go there. -

Came here for a birthday party. We had a large party so they put us downstairs by ourselves... for about 1/4 of the meal... then they informed us we should move upstairs... who does that? Then they wouldn't split the bill so that turned into a mess.
Prices were normal, food wasn't terrible but was only average at best if not a bit below.
Way too many Italian places like this to go here - skip! -

Philadelphia, PAIn short, terrible service from wait staff and manager.
To start, the food here is pretty good if you are looking for some home-style heavy Italian. However, I had a really bad service experience that left a poor taste in my mouth. We came in with a group of 5 and were seated right away. While we were finishing our meals the check was brought to the table, which seemed odd. Then we paid it, but were still finishing the wine we had bought at the table when the waiter asked us to either order dessert or leave. In all we had been at the restaurant for under an hour at that point. We left, and mentioned to the manager that it was rude to force us out while we still had drinks to finish. The manager offered no apology, and only told us that there was a table coming in behind us and they squeezed us in without telling us. Honestly, if you are going to squeeze me in and be rude about it, please do not sit me next time. And if you need the table, don't tell me I can stay if I order dessert!!! -

Manhattan, NYGreat service. Great restaurant. Had a New Years Eve dinner here with a friend, and it was to-die-for delicious. Perfect if you want to go to a nice Italian restaurant that's not tooo pricey. -

Manhattan, NYHad a great, low key yet special dinner tonight with my husband & daughter. The staff were extra warm & welcoming. The manager was at the door and personally greated us.
All my daughter wanted was spaghetti & meatballs but my husband I were looking for something with a littlel more complexity- Coppola's delivered on both. Husband had a special "Momma's Rigatoni Ragu" which was delish! I had the basic "Chicken Francaise" but it was anything but usual- had a wonderful lemon butter sauce that had that bite or edge to it that made it pop & not be so bland. Also, had a nice Bottle of Chianti that was well worh it's modest price. We will definitely be back & look forward to bringing visitors here when in town. -

I came here with a buddy of mine for an unplanned late dinner last night. I've walked by many times, but I haven't ever stopped by. Getting a seat wasn't too bad, although we did have a drink at the bar before getting seated. Service was okay, if unspectacular, but the food came out pretty quickly, so I won't complain much about that.
As for the food - it was good, but not memorable. The mussels were pretty standard; they were in a white wine broth that added a nice flavor, but nothing too unique. For the entree, I ended up sampling the whole wheat fettucine with grilled chicken. The fettucine was well-prepared for whole wheat pasta, which I'm generally not a huge fan of, but the tomato sauce overwhelmed the flavor of both the pasta and the chicken. With regards to the chicken - not worth the extra $4; it seemed like it was overgrilled and a bit dry.
With plenty of very good Italian joints in the neighborhood, I'm not sure how often I'll come back here. But I like the atmosphere - a little old-school charm with brick walling that makes for a decent date spot.
