Films starring John Cusack, Helen Mirren, and Paula Patton appear in this week's list of the most pirated movies on the Internet.
The summer movie season is in full swing, which means that thoughtful, nuanced films will vanish into the ether during upcoming weeks. Explosions, CGI, and one-liners are in your futures, people. Prepare your popcorn right now.
Pirates appreciate the season, too, as they get to check out the mindless crap without spending a single cent. In fact, our friends at TorrentFreak highlight each week's most pirated films. It's a great list to check out if you're curious about what's hot in the bootleg movie space.
That said, before you dive into last week's most pirated movies, please understand that this fine publication doesn't condone illegally streaming or downloading movies. Really, it does not! That's not what we're trying to accomplish in this weekly update. This most pirated movies roundup contains mere observations about the nature of Internet film piracy. That's it. We're just the messengers, folks, and possess no ill will toward movie studios, even though they greenlight highly questionable projects. Got it? Good.
With that clarification out of the way, let's talk about last week's crop of pirated movies!
CellEye in the SkyMidnight Special, and Warcraft are the four new movies to make their first appearances on the most pirated movies list. If you want to learn more about these new flicks, and where they rank on our list, as well as last week's six other popular pirated movies, check out the slideshow linked both above and below for more information.
When you're done, please be sure to let us know what you think about the popular pirated movies on our most bootlegged films list. If you've seen these pictures (legally or otherwise) and think they're worth watching by any means possible, share your opinions in the comment section below.
Please return next week to see the latest batch of pirated movies.
