Parliamentary Commission members visit Maalbeek metro station

The members of the Parliamentary Commission that is investigating the 22 March terror attacks walked from the Federal Parliament to the Maalbeek Metro station at 12 noon on Friday. The Speaker of the Chamber of Representatives Siegfried Bracke and the Chairman of the Commission Patrick Dewael laid wreaths in honour of those that had died.
VRT’s Luc Pauwels has investigated the emissions of two identical Zafira models: one that was serviced before last year’s diesel scandal and one that was serviced afterwards. His conclusion is clear: only changes to the software can explain different emission levels.

Banks must pass on detail of tax haven transactions

In future banks will have to keep a record of all transactions between their customers and tax havens. The information will then have to be passed on to the Inland Revenues anti-money laundering cell.
