Auschwitz survivor living in Canada returning for liberation anniversary

Auschwitz has become a symbol of the horrors of the Holocaust, in which six million Jews were systematically killed. Friedman Ziegler, who lives in Thornhill, Ont., is among about 100 survivors who are returning to Poland this week to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. 9
