There is a lot to see on the Upper West Side of Manhattan...
And especially a lot of scaffolding, as endless renovation takes place and prices go up, up, up..
I had seen the Soldiers and Sailors Monument before, but I always thought it was Grants Tomb.. Just like Olmstead's other big work in Manhattan, Central Park, Riverside Park has a lot of statues and monuments, grand buildings on it, and lots of very interesting old houses on the side streets leading of it..
And , of course, nearby Starbucks outlets...
