A six-alarm fire raged near the Brooklyn waterfront Saturday, with city firefighters struggling for hours to douse the flames, authorities said.
The massive blaze -- -- enveloped the CitiStorage building at 5 North 11th St. in Williamsburg shortly before 6:30 a.m. The fire isn't expected to be under control anytime Saturday, said Firefighter Michael Parrella, a spokesman for the New York City Fire Department.

The FDNY has cleared the area around the warehouse in case the building collapses.
"Parts of it look unstable," Parrella said.
Boxes of paper records appeared to be fueling the fire, which sent tall flames and black plumes of smoke into the sky over Brooklyn, the FDNY said.
More than 200 firefighters are on the scene battling the fire, some of them using fire boats from the East River, Parrella said.

Firefighters' efforts have been complicated by heavy winds coming off the water, he said.
"It's still a very active fire," Parrella said.
