This Youtube video is worth checking out just as another example of how funny past predictions of what the future will be like can seem when the future finally arrives.

The focus of this short film made for the 1939 World's Fair in New York City is women's clothes (including a bridal outfit)-- just one man shown. Actually, the man could really be a member of some nutty music group but maybe that would be more the 1980's than 2000...

Hmmm. I wonder if this video would give Lady Gaga any ideas.
