Alley in Murray Hill

Took this photo last winter, and when I went back again not so long ago was disappointed to find that while all the summer foliage was very pretty, it hid the basic design of this Alley in Murray Hill.   Especially the figures on the wall at the back..

I believe I shot this through the bars of a gate.

Manhattan is rumored to have a small number of even more secluded courtyards and alleys than this one, mostly in Midtown, which of course would be fun to see. There  might be some way of googling them up...I don't know.
