Al Fresco dining increases now the Summer is Here

Can see they have put out the tables in awnings at local plaza...that means summer is here in earnest.

Of course, the minute the temperature becomes something less than frigid, an awful lot of people want to eat outdoors in Manhattan.

Most outdoor cafes etc.  do not have anything like the charm of those in say, Paris ( what a mild understatement) but people love to be outdoors, period. For the same reason as they always did in Paris, I suspect--they are not just going to sit around in their small apartments and prefer to dine out a lot.
