Middle east - Video: Yazidis tell of ISIS horrors in northern Iraq

Regarding the threat that ISIL poses for Iraq and indeed perhaps the whole of the region itself, It's not enough for Muslims and Arab states to merely verbally condemn ISIL saying it tarnishes Islams' image. The Arab states should join forces with Iraq (despite the fact that Iraqs' leadership is predominantly Shia) to fight and destroy this cancer known as ISIL. It is decades of scathing rhetoric and hatred from Muslims (including states with their own political agendas) that should have known better and that helped spawn this plague. Also, it is not merely a matter of degree either,.....all extremists and radicals of whatever stripe that use religion for their own purposes and ambitions need to be robustly condemned. Just as it was harmful and ridiculous for Protestants and Catholics to fight with each other so it is with Sunni and Shia. ISIL is a murderous cancer that subverts religion and blasphemes G_d, killing the innocents in His name. It is just and right to fight these murderers.

Middle east - Strange bedfellows: terror groups, Kurdish factions unite against ISIS

It is interesting, however, there are a lot of historical mistakes. I think PKK means Kurdish nationalism in Turkey and Syria, if they are supposed to be a terrorist, it means all the Kurds in Syria and Turkya are terrorist! which is not true. We should call them the freedom fighters.

so Hamas say "it wasn't me " and of course you believe them, after all they have such a good record with the truth, and you have such a good record with impartial reporting, like most of the rest of the worlds media.

Middle east - Fresh strikes mar Gaza ceasefire extension

It is bound to be very painful for the 'Hamas' leadership to acknowledged that with the 'World Order' as it is now, the stark reality is that in any armed engagement with Israel, whether they initiate it or the Israelis do, they will always , in the short and medium term, loose. Unfortunately that means that Palestinian Children, Women, Disabled and old-men in their hundreds become inescapable victims of what is a futile excise that only placates and feeds the passionate 'egoticism and hunger to prevail' of the Leaders of both Communities. Those with influence over them must urgently plead with the 'Hamas' leadership that it must spare the ordinary Palestinians death , suffering and destruction flowing from this cyclical, uneven 'Dawoud and Goliath' struggle by completely ceasing to lob provocative , inaccurate, ineffective useless missiles at their historically related People occupying their once commonly shared Land. Convince 'Hamas' that Time, in the very long-term, is on their side and fruition of Justice for them will eventually be served when 'chance, change and diplomacy' have run their course !

Again they cheat. HAMAS like ISIS, BOKO HARAM and likewise terror organizations cannot be trusted. The only reason Israelis did not suffer genocide as the Yazydis in Iraq is the might of IDF.
