Last night, Stephen Colbert mocked Fox News's outrage over Obama appearing on Zach Galifianakis's "Between Two Ferns" interview series on FunnyOrDie.com.
ANDREA TANTAROS: Zach Galifianakis is really funny.  The problem is, he won.  He won that interview.  President Obama, that was not a win for him.
No, no, no.  She is right.  That's what every show is about.  Who wins and who loses.  And Tantaros ought to know, she wins The Five every day.  The loser?  Information.  (audience laughter and applause)  Now folks, by going on that web show, Barack Obama undermined the authority of the presidency.  And that is Fox News's job.
Video and full transcript below the fold.

I like to have fun.  I'm a fun guy, just ask my staff.  Jimmy, am I fun? JIMMY: Yes sir, you're very fun.
Damn straight.  But even a fun guy like me knows there's a time and a place for fun, and one of those places is not with your finger on the button.
"Knock, knock."
"Who's there?"
"Nobody, we were all killed in a nuclear war while you were too busy yukking it up with your Hollywood buddies."
Here's the deal.  If you've been watching the TV, you know it, but here it is.  No one has signed up for Obamacare, give or take 4.2 million people.  (audience laughter)  And our president has gotten so desperate, that he appeared on this website Funny Or Die.  By the way, Funny Or Die is also the ultimatum you get from Obama's death panel.  (audience laughter)
Now this show he went on, Between Two Fernwoods Tonight, it went viral.  Which is all part of Obama's sinister plan — spread a virus, then watch everyone scramble for signing up for health care.  (audience laughter and applause)
Folks, I am not the only one who was angry.  I'm just the best at it.  This appearance set off a firestorm everywhere, from Fox News to later in the day on Fox News.
3/11/2014: BRIAN KILMEADE: How small is this?  President Obama sitting down with comedian Zach Galifianakis for an online interview.
ELISABETH HASSELBECK: Some would argue it's inappropriate.
BRIAN KILMEADE: I think it's pretty tragic.
ELISABETH HASSELBECK: Seemed pretty real.
BRIAN KILMEADE: Whoever recommended that he do that show should be fired.
CHIP SALTSMAN: This is way beneath the office of the presidency.
GRETA VAN SUSTEREN: President Obama hitting the comedy circuit.  Is he getting the last laugh, or making a mockery of the office?
ANDREA TANTAROS: Zach Galifianakis is really funny.  The problem is, he won.  He won that interview.  President Obama, that was not a win for him.
No, no, no.  She is right.  That's what every show is about.  Who wins and who loses.  And Tantaros ought to know, she wins The Five every day.  The loser?  Information.  (audience laughter and applause) Now folks, by going on that web show, Barack Obama undermined the authority of the presidency.  And that is Fox News's job.  Just ask the Underminer-in-Chief, Bill O'Reilly.
BILL O'REILLY (3/11/2014): For a president under intense scrutiny to do a comedy show raises some questions. ... It looks like Putin believes the president is a lightweight, will a comedy video counter that?  Just asking. ... All I can tell you is, Abe Lincoln would not have done it.
(audience laughter) It's true, it's true, you can't fight that logic.  Abe Lincoln would never have done a viral web video.  (audience laughter)  the most that President Lincoln ever did was sit for a daguerreotype-type meme.

(audience laughter)
But Nation, the very worst part about this disaster is that it worked.  It's gotten over 13 million views, and what with everybody talking about it, it's boosted traffic to healthcare.gov by 40%.  (audience cheering and applause)

Well, that stops here.  That stops here and now!  They are not tricking me into talking about healthcare.gov and the President's Affordable Care Act.  Jimmy, put the website on the screen so I know what I am not talking about, OK?  You see that right there, healthcare.gov?

That is the last time that I ever say healthcare.gov.  Jimmy?  Jimmy?  Why do I keep saying healthcare.gov?  Cut my mic, Jimmy!  Cut my mic!
(Stephen's mic gets cut off as he rants silently)

(audience laughter and applause)
... mic back on?  Thank you very much, Jimmy.
All right?  No free rides, healthcare.gov.  Fuck!
Stephen also looked at how RT spreads anti-American propaganda here in the U.S. with Liz Wahl, who recently quit RT on live TV.

Stephen then talked about the NSA's own advice columnist.

Meanwhile, Jon looked at the charges of the CIA hacking into Senate files to delete information about the torture program, and talked with very new correspondent Jordan Klepper.

Then Sam Bee looked at gender differences in what gets covered for health care, and how Medicare spends millions on penis pumps for senior citizens.

Stephen talked with former California First Lady Maria Shriver, and Jon talked with actor Jason Bateman.
