Grey December Day- Neighborhood Photos

Today was just...well, grey. Christmas was not thrown at us early this year, it is beginning after Thanksgiving as it always used to, maybe retailers here have decided there is nothing to be gained by starting earlier.

Local Rite Aid store is full of new Christmas decor...this is small section...

This being Manhattan, someone will always be out in a local park even if they are the only person there...

While this woman looks like she is coming or going to a birthday party or at any rate a party of some kind...

Meanwhile, the new sidewalk goes in where they had torn up the old one...

A little further South, near Peter Cooper Village, a local barber works away..

A Delivery takes place at the local Fairway...

Accumulated junk in Kips Bay handily includes a mirror so I can get in a Selfie of sorts...

The Local Fruit Stand is of course as busy as ever in the afternoon...

Guess we will end with this decorated door...this is not Australia, where someone puts 50,000 lights on a house hoping to win some prize....
