Straphangers passing through the Bowling Green subway station
may be made dizzy by an array of back-lit photos that look straight down
on Manhattan intersections.
The photos, part of the MTA's Arts for Transit program, are the
work of Navid Baraty, who strapped a camera to his wrist to capture
some of the images. A press release about the exhibit says Baraty aimed
the camera as he "leaned out windows, and on ledges, gaining a view that
that gives a new perspective on our role as city dwellers."
The exhibit will remain on view through 2014.
