Join John Feal this afternoon at 4:30 et on CNBC as John discusses the reauthorization of Zadroga.
There is a supermajority of 65 senators on board for reauthorization. But Presidential candidates (and sitting Senators) Paul, Rubio and Cruz refuse to sign on.
Expect John to discuss that frankly speaking, we don't need them at this point. The time to be a leader has passed for these 3. Sure, sign up now if you want. We welcome more names. But when 65 out of 100 senators say they are in favor, what could possibly be the concern of those 3 that has stopped them from getting on board.
Watch today as John discusses this issue as well as our trip for meetings that's planned for next Tuesday.

Brian Hawthorne It needs to be asked. Obviously no Democratic politician is going to do a damb thing but turn on workers who continue to blindly support them. One of these candidates needs to be our next president. Only a fool would pay union dues to support Hillary Clinton.

Make no mistake about it. 27 mayors , 65 senators 243 congressmen, you will be hard pressed to find a single item currently under review/consideration in America with as much support as Zadroga.
Speaker Paul Ryan can end this despair by taking Rep. Goodlatte's bill and tossing it and bringing Congresswomen Maloney's original bill to a straight up and down vote.
Call him tomorrow and tell him the people HAVE spoken. Tell him to do perform the will of the people.

Mayor de Blasio joined mayors from around the country and New York’s Congressional reps to push Paul Ryan to renew the Zadroga Act.

We posted a birthday wish this afternoon to FDNY Capt Patrick Brown of Ladder Co 3. We have received some questions and comments asking if Capt. Brown had participated in Rescue Co 1's roof rope rescue in Manhattan in 1991. Capt. Brown was indeed the officer of Rescue 1 during this fire as a Lieutenant at the time.
At the time of Capt. Browns death, he was widely regarded as the FDNY's most decorated active firefighter.
He's a video where Lt. Brown and the other members of Res1cue take you through the events of that rescue.
Shot in 1991, narrated by John Walsh riding with FDNY Rescue Co-1....... featuring some Brothers no longer with us (9/11) Rip. This one highlights the (2) Ti...

The first few minutes are very disturbing, especially if you lived through that time period. Any one of these unfortunate events can happen to someone at a fire. Train like your life depends on it, cause it does!

Fox Business has tomorrow nights Republican debate.
Fox has had NY Senator Gillibrand on television twice today and Shepherd Smith had a story on the failed reauthorization of 9/11 health this afternoon.
Will Fox continue to press this issue tomorrow night?
Call Fox News and ask them to pass on a simple question;
As a candidate for President, where do you stand on the failed reauthorization of the Zadroga 9/11 health bill. And do you support it's reauthorization. ...
