Brooklyn Cops Help Deliver Baby
Police Officers Brown and Cordero, assigned to the 78 Precinct, helped deliver a baby today near the intersection of Flatbush and Nostrand Avenues. The two officers were on their way to their foot posts when they were alerted by a passerby that there was a woman in labor on the sidewalk. Officer Brown ran across the street and began to help the 34-year-old woman who was in active labor.

Training To Protect NYC - #ItsWhatWeDo
NYPD officers along with local and federal partners participated in a training exercise this morning in the Bowery Street subway station. The multiagency drill simulated an active shooter situation in Lower Manhattan. The scenarios, all recorded on video, will be used by the NYPD and partner agencies to learn more about the response and share with others in law enforcement.

Meet NYPD Detective Reilly and Trooper
Detective Reilly and Trooper joined other members of the NYPD today in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Mounted Unit's new headquarters. The modern facility will be home to more than 35 officers and 22 horses. Equipped with the latest technology, the building located on the west side of Manhattan will allow for more efficient police services.
