Pictured is Mike Stoker, the engineer for the fictional Engine 51 and a real-life firefighter specialist with the Los Angeles County Fire Department at the time. Apparently, Universal needed an engineer to drive the engine for the television show, and Stoker had a SAG (Screen Actors Guild) card, so he got the job. He retired from LACoFD in 1996 as a captain. ‪#‎tbt‬
