Your EMS Day: 33-year-old male climber stuck on a sheer cliff-side rescued by Malibu/ Lost Hills Sheriff's Station SAR team. Team sent several rescuers up the cliff side to stabilize the uninjured climber, awaiting helicopter response. LASD ‪#‎AirRescue5‬ helicopter responded and assisted with a dramatic hoist of the victim and several rescuers off the cliff side. This was one of three calls for Malibu SAR in 24 hours. YTD 2015 72 calls for service.

Pediatric Procedures Practice and Play Time Pig Lab students practice procedures on a pig heart Friday at Northwest Florida State College where the class was held to teach medical professionals and first responders more about the biology of children through leftover pig parts that had originally been headed for dog food.
