Coca-Cola’s big Super Bowl ad this year featured a rendition of “America the Beautiful” sung in multiple languages, alongside sweeping images of America’s landscape and its people.
It was extremely patriotic, wholesome, and altogether unobjectionable in every way.
Cue xenophobes on Twitter threatening to boycott Coke in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…

For what it’s worth, part of the reason the #boycottcoke hashtag took off was righteous tweeters trolling xenophobes like the ones above. So we’re not all terrible.
