Special Investigator Diane DiGiacomo, one of the beloved ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement officers regularly featured on Animal Planet's "Animal Precinct" television show, has died of line of duty injuries sustained following the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks in New York City. Please join us in honoring her dedication and bravery to the citizens of New York.
On this day, 52 years after his LODD, we remember Officer J.D. Tippit, shot and killed in Dallas while questioning Lee Harvey Oswald about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Sixty years after his line of duty death, ODMP remembers Korean War veteran Patrolman Jack William Ranier, Sr. of the Henderson Police Department, KY.
