NYPD Transit Cops Save Five From Burning House
Transit Police Officers Gurley and Fienga rushed into a burning house in Brooklyn early Monday morning and saved the five residents who were trapped inside. Nancy Lunnie Jones If you've never been in a fire, you have no idea- it's not like TV- it isn't light, it isn't hazy, it is hot black smoke filling every space around you. It is terror. These officers risked death and are probably still coughing up junk out of their lungs. They deserve the honors coming to them. Well done!
