Hiking, trekking, walking, whatever you call it -- the practice of heading out into nature to put one foot in front of the other for an hour or a month is a popular pastime and vacation activity. It's also probably one of the most accessible adventures out there: Hikes exist in all shapes and sizes from 'you'll be lucky to get out alive' to 'my grandma did this last month - twice'. So, in honor of National Take a Hike Day tomorrow, we highlight some epic hikes and -- in case you're feeling less than intrepid this year -- trail sections for each that are (a bit) easier on your time and body.
