“I love the department so much. We did our job the way we’re trained to do. We told her it was going to be a good day for her. It was a good feeling,” said 16-year FDNY veteran Paramedic Juan Henriquez, who along with Paramedic Robert Persaud, helped to reunite a missing woman with her family this week. “Trying to comfort her, we said that we wanted to ease her children’s worries by taking her somewhere safe and that they would be able to find her there.” The woman had been the subject of a Silver Alert since earlier in the day.
