NYPD: This Midtown Pickpocket Tried To Go On $28,000 Shopping Spree

2015_11_midtownpick.jpgPolice are looking for a man who stole a Manhattan bar patron's wallet and then tried to go crazy with the victim's credit cards.

According to the NYPD, the wallet theft took place around 7 p.m., on November 4th, at East 41st Street bar Stout NYC: "An unknown male suspect removed a 43-year-old male victim's wallet from the victim's sports jacket, which was hanging on the back of a chair at the bar. The wallet contained credit cards from Bank of America, American Express and Citibank as well as a driver license and a MTA/LIRR pass."
Police say the suspect then tried to rack up $28,000 in charges at Macy's and Saks Fifth Avenue.
