A new version of the London Underground map has revealed the average rent at every Tube stop in London.
The map, produced by website Thrillist, shows the median cost of a one-bedroom flat within a kilometre of each station.
It allows Londoners to find out the average prices in their neighbourhood and provides a clear picture of the disparity between rents in different parts of London, highlighting the huge premium paid for property in the more central areas.
A full-size version of the map can be explored here.
Ten most expensive tube stops
Hyde Park Corner - £2,920
Knightsbridge - £2,832
Green Park - £2,384
Bond Street - £2,276
Oxford Circus - £2,260
Piccadilly Circus - £2,256
Canon Street - £2,156
Regent's Park - £2,136
Monument - £2,128
Bank - £2,128
Thrillist writer Jason Allen said: “Because we all enjoy a little light masochism now and then, we've put together a full rent map of the capital, showing the average monthly cost for a one-bedroom within a kilometre of each Tube station on the network.”
Unsurprisingly, costs are highest in the most exclusive central London districts such as Hyde Park Corner – on the Piccadilly line – which tops the charts at £2,920 per month.
Ten cheapest Tube stops:
Hatton Cross - £324
Redbridge - £488
South Ruislip - £552
Ruislip Gardens - £552
Elm Park - £552
Croxley - £680
Upton Park - £692
Hounslow West - £732
Ruislip Manor - £732
Barkingside - £736
Nearby Knightsbridge comes in a close second at £2,832, while Green Park is third on £2,384.
The cheapest areas are towards the fringes of the Tube lines, with a one-bed in Hyde Park Corner costing nine times an equivalent property in Hatton Cross.
The area around this Tube station, at the south-west end of the Piccadilly line, just before Heathrow, is by far the cheapest with one-bed renters paying £324 per month on average.

That is more than £150 less than the next cheapest, Redbridge, which is towards the north-eastern end of the Central line and has a figure of £488.
South Ruislip, towards the opposite end of the Central line, comes in third at £552.
The map was produced by Thrillist with the help of Find Properly.
