EXPANSIONS Mental Health Program: Thanks to the van Ameringen Foundation we are now able to provide expanded counseling days and hours in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Woodbury, and Staten Island. Contact us to make an appointment. SERVICE CHANGES EFFECTIVE 10/1/15 With the conclusion of a grant from NY State we will see some changes to the services supported by it, while continuing to focus our resources where they are needed most. FoF Internet Counseling Program will close 9/30. If you are already enrolled you will have access through October. FoF On the Line Hotline (1-866-339-7717) will close 9/30. If you call after this date you will automatically be forwarded to a NY Crisis Hotline. Alternate crisis hotline services found here. New Program: Women's Intimacy Group FDNY firefighters and family members are invited to join Friends of Firefighters for a free 6-week educational and support group that allows women to share openly in regards to sexuality, pleasure, and intimacy. The group will be facilitated by Lauren Johnson, LMFT.
