Seeing as it was a rural area there was a lot of water wasted on the bush. Was vertical ventilation really needed as most of the fire was knocked and it didn't seem to be a deep seated fire?
  • Brandon Davis What a waste venting the room majority of the fire was out , but great knockdown

  • Robert Morrow Need to drill a lot more on communication. Nothing is worse on a scene than an IC that doesn't communicate well or a command officer for that matter. Being the strong silent type doesn't cut it. I hate a command officer who expects you to read his or her mind. I know it's difficult making command decisions on the fire ground but when in command, command!
