Women's football: the United States win the World

The United States won in Vancouver Sunday, July 5th their third FIFA Women's World after those of 1991 and 1999 by crushing Japan 5-2, thanks to an outstanding game of their number 10 Carli Lloyd, author of a hat-trick.
Ramp-up throughout the tournament, the Americans are now world champions and Olympic champions. They also took their revenge on the Japanese, who were deprived of the title in 2011 by defeating Germany on penalties in the final goal.
