Revised designs have been released for 22 Bishopsgate in London. The tower will sit at the center of a cluster of high-rises in the City financial district, which includes the Leadenhall Building and 20 Fenchurch Street. It will be the second tallest building in the UK behind the Shard.  read more

Contact temporarily lost with New Horizons spacecraft
On July 4, NASA's New Horizons deep space probe temporarily lost communications. The spacecraft, which is only nine days from its historic flyby with the dwarf planet Pluto, lost contact with the Deep Space Network at 1:54 pm EDT and came back online at 3:15 pm.  read more

Kepler Energy reveals plans for tidal energy scheme in Bristol Channel
Kepler Energy has announced plans for a 30 MW tidal energy fence to be built in the Bristol Channel somewhere between Aberthaw and Minehead. If it gets the nod, the fence could be operational by 2021.  read more
