  • Ray Pfeifer NEW YORK,– Firefighters are battling a blaze at a high rise on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. WABC reports the call came at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday of a fire at 100 Riverside Drive. The fire appears to be contained to the 21st floor terrace. The building is 30 stories. There are no reports of any injuries.

  • Ray Pfeifer Bruce was a true senior man. I learned a lot from him in the many years I worked with him. He backed me up at my first job as a probie. Bruce NEVER said no to anyone. With a smile and a song he did his thing. You my friend will never be forgotten.

  • Michael S. Kotula Very true Ray! In your first year as a probie you don't make a lot of money. It was Christmas and Bruce heard me on the phone telling my wife it would be a lean year for presents for our 3 children. When I came back to work Bruce handed me an envelope with $2,000 in it and "said take care of your kids for Christmas, pay me back when you can." He will never be forgotten.
