Moskau festgenommen
In a protest to the Russian national holiday the Kremlin critic Nadezhda Tolokonnikowa has been temporarily detained by the punk band Pussy Riot.
She and her running mate Katrin Nenaschewa went on Friday in a prisoner uniform on the Bolotnaya square in the center of Moscow and sewed there demonstratively a Russian flag. This was announced Tolokonnikowa with the short message service Twitter.
After a few minutes the two were arrested and carried off the arms and legs by police, local media reported.

With the action Tolokonnikowa and Nenaschewa demonstrating for the rights of women in prisons. Russia celebrates on June 12, the day the Declaration of Independence, which will mark this year for the 25th time.
The 25-year-old Tolokonnikowa and her band Pussy Riot had become famous in 2012 with a "punk prayer" in a Moscow church, with which it had against the re-election of the Kremlin bosses Vladimir Putin (62) as President protested. A prison term was cut short in an amnesty in December-2013.
