  • Pascal Hay Every time you turn around you go to help someone only to get assaulted, cursed at, or spit on because they are drunk or doped up. You are supposed to put up with it because they are not in control of themselves. Well I didn't twist their arm and run an NG tube down their gizzard while pouring booze in nor did I make them use those drugs. Where does this persons own accountability and responsibility come into play?

EMS providers don’t need to know the law to become lawyers, but rather should be informed citizens in a field that is heavily influenced by the law and the legal process.
We don’t all need to be EMS lawyers but knowing a few basics about how bills become law will make you a better EMS provider
