Many know that the Fire Department of New York is considered New York City's bravest, but have you meet New York's furriest? Now you can.
Two different FDNY firehouses have created Instagram accounts for the adorable kitties that keep them company at the station, Gothamist reports.
Carlow is a white and ginger feline that keeps tabs on the equipment at a fire department in Manhattan's Yorkville neighborhood.
His fellow partner is fluffy, firefighting Boogie. Black and white Boogie resides at Ladder 24 in Midtown Manhattan and appears to an expert napper.
Boogie and Carlow are inspirations to cats everywhere that they can grow up to be firefighters, too. All they have to do is get stuck in a tree or hang out by a hydrant.
Get to know these firehouse cats a bit more in the photos below, and feel free to forward their accounts to your local station to give them some ideas.
