Loft conversions are of course all over Midtown...
I didn't notice if this building had a doorman or not.
I understand that in San Francisco, none of the buildings have doormen. This seems inconceivable to me as a New Yorker...
These buildings may offer "interesting spaces" but they are usually quite far from amenities such as supermarkets.
Maybe the people who live in these buildings are rich enough simply to order all their food and have it delivered....and also eat at restaurants a lot.
