Clifton, NJThis review is LONG overdue.
I got a room on Hotels Tonight for our anniversary. I wanted to do something special for my girlfriend. I got some flowers and wine and headed to check in. I was greeted by Felix at the desk (he's the man). We chatted a bit and he was super friendly. I asked to get a room with a view of the park or on a higher floor and he gave be BOTH! It was amazing. I later mentioned it was my anniversary but didn't think anything of it. When I was dropping off my stuff in the room, room service knocked with a complimentary bottle of champagne and balloon!! I was blown away. I also brought my own wine glasses and the wonderful lady who was making my room buffed them for me.
I can't wait to stay here again. I never imagined this level of service. Oh and the location? One of the best located hotels in the city. -

Three of the best words heard by a traveller: You have been upgraded
I am almost compelled to write a great review, because the penthouse was just that good with balconey, living area, giant bedroom and incredible bathroom
Bryant Park is in the heart of Midtown right off 6th avenue. It is a contemporary syle place with a Japanese restaurant and cool bar in the lobby with a small reception area. It is across from Bryant Park, which is really cool
I would probably still rated Bryant Park really high based on just location, but the woman Nikki at front was especially courteous as was the rest of the staff
Great find -

Baltimore, MDOur stay here was comped (otherwise we likely wouldn't be staying here, let alone in Manhattan) so we were pretty stoked with the room. The room was spacious and the separate tub and shower in the bathroom was luxurious.
Overall the accommodations were lovely, though I have a few complaints.
1) Our room faced the alley so it was a little noisy at times.
2) We could here the doors of the two rooms next to us anytime the opened/closed.
3) I needed some band aids (walking around the city in heels for several days did my poor toes no favors) and called the front desk. We were told there were band aids in the mini bar. For $6 I could have two whole band aids. Really?
4) The wifi was down for the first day and a half that we were here. Lame.
The turn down service at night was a treat and the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly (except for band aids).
For a free room, I give it 5 stars. If I were paying though, it'd be more like 3. -

Tarrytown, NYMy wife and I stayed at the Bryan Park Hotel to mark our 10th wedding anniversary. We spent our wedding night here as well. We were treated incredibly well.
When I first booked the reservation they noticed it was for such a special occasion and emailed me to say they were upgrading us to a deluxe room with a balcony. They stayed in contact for the few weeks leading up to our arrival, and greeted us like old friends when we finally checked in.
We came into the room to find champagne and balloons congratulating us.
The whole experience was absolutely phenomenal! -

Houston, TXI believe the hotel is overpriced. It is located in a nice/central location, the hotel lobby is not a mad house , and the staff was very helpful. I found the rooms to resemble cheap Ikea furniture and décor. I also had issues with wi-fi connectivity, having to spend unnecessary time on the phone with IT. I also has computer issues after leaving on both my laptop and Ipad because there was still some link to this connection. I haven't experienced this with other hotels wi-fi connection and I travel a lot. We stayed 2 nights at Bryant Park Hotel there and then pricelined a 3 star room in midtown at 14 the cost. -

Macon, GAFrom the moment we pulled up it felt like we were in for a pampered experience as the bellman whisked us inside from our cab and took our luggage!
This hotel was amazing, quiet and cozy with a huge bathroom (not just huge for NYC but huge for hotels in general!). We had free Wi-Fi and a free happy hour at the Cellar Bar with champagne and cocktails!
The staff was fantastic and friendly along with attending to our every need including bottles of water at check-out!Listed in: NYC Haunts -

Brooklyn, NYShit is $$$$$ go else where. If you love suits definitely go... if not go else where. it's a really cool place to be in, but it's a sausage fest of suits. If that's your type put on your best work dress, and go. It's fun to go with your girls, because the cheese plate goes well with scotch. YUM. -

New York, NYSo my friend's company booked a suite to hang out after a fundraiser that they hosted.Everyone was dressed in suits and gowns.
I showed up after my shift of bartending to meet them for drinks. I got pushed around by security. I was barely allowed to go upstairs. And eventually we were asked to leave. Not surprising, if we were rowdy or unruly, but it really was very tame. In fact, some of the guests were pregnant and not even drinking.
We were asked to leave the hotel, with no compensation.. After being asked to spend money in their hotel bar, despite the fact that we had a fully stocked suite, the bar was closed.
It was humiliating, We had 16 buisness people in our room. And it is the worst customer service I have ever witnessed.
If you want fun and comfort to die, go to the Bryant Park Hotel. -

My go to NYC hotel when I just want to feel like a queen. This was my 7th stay here and wow, amazing every time.
I tend to arrive into the city early, way earlier than check-in, yet every time, I am always able to get my room. Sometimes I have had to upgrade for said room but when I am in there by 8AM and an extra $50, no complaints here at all.
Service- Amazing. The front desk is so helpful with anything you need. Always great at getting me a cab or helping me find a good pizza joint.
Rooms- LOVE. Free wifi, comfy beds, deep tub, ample room in shower, CLEAN, sitting area in certain rooms, magazines I actually want to read, plenty of closet space, lots of natural light, great views.
An all around win on so many levels. You just cannot go wrong. -

Easton, PAWe will defiantly being going back to the Bryant park hotel. ALL the employees made us feel like we were the only ones in the hotel and so polite and helpful.
The location is perfect! The room was so cozy and had everything u would need or want. The bathroom was really great and being a few steps from beautiful Bryant park is a huge plus.
Free valet. Free wifi. Free happy hour. And not on a super busy road. Need I say more!
Also we had a great time at the Cellar Bar and never had to wait in line to get in as we were guests of the hotel.
Thank you chase for your help and kindness you gave us a beautiful room with a view ;)
We had the best anniversary !! Can't wait to do it again. -

Review from Jenny H.
Unbeknownst to me, I'd booked one of the top romantic hotels in the city. The service was lovely. The fellow still remembered how to pronounce my last name upon checkout. Something of a rare bird!
We arrived to find that our room was not available and instead received a free upgrade. Score! We unpacked while tuned into runway shows... there was a separate channel?! Nice! The elevators were a fiery feast for the eyes. Shortly after sunset, we returned to dimmed lights and complimentary ginger-passionflower chocolates on our pillows. After a night out, we relaxed in our plush robes, Molton Brown products and the soothing sounds from the ipod-mp3 Bose hookups.
The hotel was very accommodating with our luggage even after check-out. The location was excellent and for my first NYC experience, we couldn't have picked a better place.
